I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lagares Hostel in Mendoza, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The staff not only went out of their way to ensure my comfort and enjoyment but also extended their warmth and assistance to my elderly parents who were traveling with me. Javier, in particular, stood out with his genuine care and positive energy, making us feel truly welcomed and valued. from the ironing facilities available to the perfectly regulated heating and air conditioning in the rooms, every aspect of our comfort was considered. Despite being close to the main street, the rooms were remarkably soundproof, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances.One of the highlights for me was the shared kitchen, which was not only well-equipped but also provided a space where my family could bond over preparing meals, creating lasting memories. The presence of a flat-screen TV in the room added a touch of luxury, allowing us to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful vineyards of Mendoza. The hostel's terrace and garden furniture provided a tranquil setting to enjoy a glass of Malbec while basking in the picturesque surroundings. The convenient location, within walking distance from the city center and popular dining spots like Ipanema Cantina and Cantina La Rambla, added to the overall delight of our stay.In conclusion, Lagares Hostel exceeded my expectations in every way possible, offering not just accommodation but a true home away from home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience during their visit to Mendoza.
